Lola: Ooooh, do you think that hurt?

Gino: Naw, she's pretty tough.

Jeffrey: I'm sure glad aliens don't need jabs.  At least they gave her a snoopy band-aid.  Mama, maybe you should give it a kiss to make her feel better.

Lola: Hey look, she's wearing the same shirt that she wore when she got her first jabs.  Wow, that girl ought to go shopping or something.

Meet (L to R) Lola, Gino, and their son Jeffrey:

Gino: Can you believe Kathy finally got the flights arranged for this trip?

Lola: Oh yes, and I'm just so excited, we leave on July 14 (check out the new countdown clock she added to the blog on the right) and we return on July 27.

Jeffrey:  I can't wait to meet Lisa's travelling companion.  Kathy said it was a surprise, but I wonder who it will be, and I wonder if they'll be around my age so we can hang out!  Oh well, it doesn't matter.  I have my favorite hair dryer here in my hand.  I'm ready for anything!

Gino:  Do you think Kathy will carry our passports?  Man, these things are giant -- won't fit in my belly pack for sure!

Lola:  Oh, there is just so much to do....I'd better start making my lists.
