My visit to the travel clinic
I received a ton of information from the travel clinic nurse the other day:
Wow, I'll have to find time to read all this good stuff!
I got a prescription for Cipro (in case of traveler's diarrhea) and also received some "jabs":
I'll need to go back in a month for another dose of Hep A/B, and then another about 6 months later.
Here's my snoopy band-aid :-)
- Malaria (where it is common)
- Insect precautions
- Dengue Fever (although not common where we are going)
- Traveler's Diarrhea
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid
- Air Travel
- Health Care Abroad
- Safety and Security
- Trip Checklist
- Post Travel
- General Travel Health

The appointment is scheduled for the travel clinic
I think I'll have to get some jabs (shots). I checked the CDC website and they recommend Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, and even Rabies vaccines.
