I thought I'd better share how I uploaded pics from my iPad.  In case I forget, I can always read the blog for instructions (hee hee).
  1. Use iCab (not Safari)
  2. Go to flickr.com and log in with Google email account and password.
  3. Click on "upload photos and video" link.
  4. Click on "Select File" button.
  5. Find the pic or pics on the iPad and select them.
  6. Add tags if desired.
  7. Choose the public privacy setting (so they can be added to the blog which is also public).
  8. Click the UPLOAD button.
Once the pics have been uploaded to flickr,
  1. Select the photo to be added to the blog.
  2. They can be emailed, added to Blogger or Facebook by selecting the appropriate button in the Actions field.
  3. Add a title and a comment in the dialogue box if desired
  4. Click the POST button
Voilà!

BTW, it is really too bad that Google and Apple can't play nicely in the sandbox. What a headache for those of us who enjoy a blend of these companies' fine products!

  2. Every blog I read said "love my ipad but... doesn't blog well, doesn't do photos well." So, I bought a teeny weeny netbook. Only 1G ram because I want it to fit in a certain pouch. It'll be slow, but we'll have a PC option on our trip as well.
